Atlas Bookshop was born from a lifetime of enthusiastic reading and a desire to share the book love with the vibrant community of Silverton.

Hello! I am Michelle Collazo, local Silverton resident and owner of Atlas Bookshop!

A 24-yr nursing career might not seem a logical segue into bookshop owner, but if you dig a bit deeper, it could . . . a natural love of books and reading and talking about books and reading . . . a natural love for people and getting to know them, meeting them where they are . . . a desire to create something in this delightful community where it’s easy to run into people you know when you’re out and about, and very easy to brag about such a beautiful spot that is Silverton. 

Atlas Bookshop is a community bookstore, located in the historic Hartman Building in downtown Silverton. You will find a broad selection of new books and bookish gifts to enhance the reading life. You can expect a variety of fiction and nonfiction genres, including picture books, middle grade, and YA.
